We Sell & Hire Beautiful Prom Dresses & Evening Wear
We are a female run business here in Essex, a mother and daughter act. We pride ourselves on our friendly, approachable manner and try to give the service you require. Our buying powers are taken seriously with careful planning and sourcing we believe we can offer many beautiful school prom dresses, cocktail dresses and glamorous evening wear that you, the customer wants.
We offer a wide selection of fabulous gowns to suit all tastes and occasions in a range of sizes and at prices to help beat the credit crunch! We have dresses suitable for balls, cruises, theatre, school, college and graduation proms, the races, charity events and, indeed any occasion where something extra special is required. We also take a record of your chosen gown to ensure we don’t sell or hire out the same dress to the same event.
All our ballgowns, prom dresses, and evening wear are all made to the highest quality and are made with the most luxurious of materials. Our stock ranges from the full petticoat Cinderella puff balls to the sleek and slender column dress. In sizes from 4 up to 28. Orders can be taken or dresses are available to buy from the shop floor providing we have your size.
Dress Hire Service
The Dress Company also offers a hire service. We find many of our ladies are always attending dinner and dances, charity dinners or summer balls and don’t wish to buy for every occasion, but also want to look special. This way you can be the belle of the ball with different gowns for different occasions without going over budget. So please consider this as an option.

If you are looking for accessories we are now proud stockist of beautiful tiaras and stunning necklaces. All fun dress jewellery at sensible prices.
And we have shoes . . .No wonder Cinderella cried so many tears for a lost glass slipper. Forget the prince, shoes will always make a girl feel beautiful, never talk back and definitely won’t want to watch the football game. Once a girl slips on the right pair of heels, it’s love at first step. So, let’s get to shopping for the right heel for your perfect prom.
